For the third year in a row, Exmouth has made it to the finalist list of the GWN7 Tourism Awards.
The GWN7 Top Tourism Town Awards recognise and reward towns in Western Australia that demonstrate a strong commitment to encouraging tourism and increasing visitation to their destination.
A field of 12 towns from across Western Australia has been named finalists across three categories in the highly coveted Awards program.
With Tourism Council WA changing the categories slightly this year, introducing a third category, the Tiny Town Awards, Exmouth has been nominated as a small Tourism Town for the first time. With a population of just 2,500, the town has been punching successfully above its category for quite some time.
It is looking forward to a chance to compete first in WA and then nationally against similar towns such as Airlie Beach, Sussex Inlet and Port Fairy; sharing its unique experiences on offer while being an advocate for sustainable travels and growth as a tourism destination.
From 9am today the public can vote online for their favourite town or city and go into the draw to win a $5,000 holiday in Western Australia or a $500 voucher to spend at any RAC Park or Resort.

The GWN7 Top Tourism Town Awards have been running for more than 30 years and recognises cities and towns across Western Australia for their commitment to tourism and the innovative experiences and facilities on offer.
